December 7th – Holiday Pops featuring vocalist Scarlett Strallen
Step into the spirit of the season with Maui Pops Orchestra’s dazzling Holiday Pops concert, led by maestro Jim Durham and starring Broadway and the West End sensation Scarlett Strallen. Enjoy an afternoon brimming with timeless Christmas classics and cherished holiday favorites, performed with warmth, joy, and sparkle. A celebration for all ages, this festive performance promises to fill your heart with cheer and capture the true magic of the holidays.
Scarlett Strallen has appeared in numerous productions on Broadway and in the West End. Highlights include the title role in the Broadway productions of Mary Poppins (a role she also played in London and Australia), and as Sibella in the Tony award winning A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder . Other highlights include Mary in Alfred Hitchcock Presents at Theatre Royal Bath, Alice in the The New Yorkers at Encores City Center, Kathy in Singin’ in the Rain at the Palace Theatre London, for which she was nominated for her second Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical, Cassie in A Chorus Line, Josephine in HMS Pinafore (Olivier award nomination), and Truly Scrumptious in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Additional theater credits include the title role in Nell Gwynn at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance at Barrington Stage Company, Cunegonde in Candide and Amalia in She Loves Me, both at the Menier Chocolate Factory, Marion Paroo in The Music Man at Chichester Festival Theatre, and appearing alongside Judi Dench in The Merry Wives of Windsor with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Scarlett received the ‘Whatsonstage’ award for Best Actress in a Musical for her portrayal of Cassie in A Chorus Line and Cunegonde in Candide in the same season. Scarlett is a frequent soloist with orchestras all over the world. Highlights from her work at the Proms on the BBC include Cole Porter in Hollywood and Bernstein Stage and Screen with the John Wilson orchestra along with playing Laurie in Oklahoma. Her “Glitter and Be Gay” with the John Wilson Orchestra can be found on YouTube. Scarlett has recorded “Something’s Gotta Give” with Simon Keenleyside and “State Fair" and the "20th Century Fox Songbook” for Chandos. Best known to millions of TV viewers as a top four finalist during the 2007 season of “American Idol,” LaKisha Jones is ready to reclaim center stage in music, theatre, and television. Having worked with hit-making songwriters and producers including Tony Nicholas (Patti LaBelle, Luther Vandross), Ro & Sauce (Brandy, Ne-Yo), and Greg Curtis (Keyshia Cole, Yolanda Adams), Jones’ album, “So Glad I’m Me” featured a spirited mix of R&B and soul. A few noteworthy songs included the single “Same Song”, penned by award-winning songwriter Dianne Warren, Whitney Houston’s “You Give Good Love,” the gospel song “Just As I Am”, and Jones soaring ballad to her daughter, “Beautiful Girl”. Jones then went to New York to audition for “American Idol” and segued from “Idol” to the Broadway stage for The Color Purple where she played “Sophia”, which she alternated with R&B icon Chaka Khan, who became her mentor. Jones participated in Khan’s 35th Anniversary Tour. Following her Broadway stint, Jones provided vocal coaching on MTV’s reality competition “Legally Blonde: The Search for Elle Woods”, a show designed to find and hone Broadway’s next star. Dan Domenech is a powerhouse performer whose dynamic voice and commanding presence have captivated audiences across 49 states and 8 countries. Since launching his professional journey with the national tour of Rent in 2002, Dan has steadily built a distinguished career on stage and screen. He originated a role in the pre-Broadway production of Sister Act in 2006, electrified audiences across the country in the first national tour of Rock of Ages, and went on to star in its celebrated Broadway run. His international debut came with Kinky Boots in Toronto, marking yet another milestone in a career defined by versatility and impact. In concert, Dan has shared the stage with symphony orchestras nationwide, including recent and upcoming performances with the Boston Pops, Grant Park Music Festival, Houston Symphony, among many others. He’s also headlined with the orchestral rock fusion powerhouse Rocktopia and toured globally with Broadway Rox, presented by Nederlander Worldwide. On screen, Dan’s television appearances include Glee (FOX), Gotham (FOX), and Viva Laughlin (CBS). He has lent his creative expertise behind the scenes at the Academy Awards, the Emmys, and the Kids’ Choice Awards, and has collaborated with acclaimed directors such as Ben Stiller, Brett Ratner, Ivan Reitman, and Adam McKay. His recent film credits include The Materialists, written and directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Celine Song, and the hit STARZ series Power Book III: Raising Kanan. February 22nd – Rodgers & Hammerstein Celebration featuring vocalists Alli Mauzey & William Michals
Broadway stars Alli Mauzey and William Michals bring their extraordinary voices to a captivating celebration of the timeless music of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II. This unforgettable performance not only showcases the brilliance of their legendary partnership but also shines a spotlight on Hammerstein’s collaboration with Jerome Kern and Rodgers’ enduring work with Lorenz Hart. Audiences will be transported by these treasured melodies, evoking the golden age of Broadway and the magic of Hollywood’s most beloved musicals.
Alli Mauzey was most recently seen starring on Broadway in the critically acclaimed world premiere musical Kimberly Akimbo. Before that, Alli starred as Ernestina in the Tony Award winning revival of Hello, Dolly!. Other Broadway credits include Glinda in Wicked, a role she also performed to critical acclaim on the First National Tour and the San Francisco company, Lenora in the musical Cry-Baby, for which she won a Theatre World Award and was nominated for a Drama League Award, and Brenda in Hairspray (both on Broadway and in the original company of the First National Tour). Alli also originated the role of Lenora in the Pre-Broadway production of Cry-Baby at the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego (Theatre Critics Circle Award). Other New York Credits include New York City Center Encores in the role of Minerva in The Golden Apple as well as Sydney in It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Superman, and the Off-Broad way production of Red Eye of Love. Regionally, she has appeared as Mallory in City of Angels for Reprise! in Los Angeles, Snookie in 110 in the Shade at the Pasadena Playhouse, and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors at The Muny, for which she was nominated for a Kevin Kline Award. Ms. Mauzey has also had the pleasure of doing several concerts with symphony orchestras across the country including playing Ellie in Show Boat with the New York Philharmonic and the title role in Cinderella alongside the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. A frequent soloist with Bravo Broadway!, Alli has performed with countless symphony orchestras in the US and Europe. Among her many voiceover credits, her voice can be heard as a regular on the animated television series Alpha Teens on Machines. She has a BFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in drama and a minor in music.

Baritone William Michals made his Broadway debut as The Beast in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and later returned to play Gaston in the same production. His career has continued in such roles as Emile De Becque in South Pacific (which he performed both on Broadway and with Opera Toulon), Javert in Les Miserables, Billy Flynn in Chicago, Don Quizote in Man of La Mancha, Harold Hill in The Music Man, Steve Martin’s Bright Star, and the title role in The Phantom of the Opera. Most recently, William was seen in the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Parade. A recipient of the prestigious Anselmo Award, he also earned recognition by Chicago’s “Jeff” and the National STAR awards for his portrayal of Chauvelin in the recent na tional tour of The Scarlet Pimpernel. Audiences across the country have enjoyed him in The Sound of Music and Chicago. Not only has William played the great theatrical venues of the nation, including Carnegie Hall, Broadway’s fabled Palace Theatre, LA’s Ahmanson and D.C.’s Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, but he’s also entertained in New York’s finest rooms, including the Rainbow Room, The Four Seasons, the Grand Ballroom of The Plaza, and 54 Below. William regularly appears with symphony orchestras around the world, including San Francisco Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Utah Symphony, Hartford Symphony, The New York Pops, Peter Nero and the Philly Pops, Grant Park Music Festival, Colorado Symphony, Omaha Symphony, Knoxville Symphony, Brevard Symphony, Maui Pops Orchestra, Vancouver Symphony, Hong Kong Philharmonic and the Miaoli Music Arts Festival in Taipei among many others. William’s credits extend into the operatic world in New York, Boston, and in concert at the Aspen and Tanglewood Music Festivals. TV appearances include "Law and Order", "All My Children", and "Guiding Light". His recordings include his solo album titled William Michals Broadway in Concert.

March 15th – Hawaiian Soul featuring vocalist Paula Fuga

A poet at heart and an accomplished ukulele player under Master Instructor, Roy Sakuma, Paula Fuga has intertwined her passions into award-winning songwriting. Her debut album, Lilikoi lauded the prestigious Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award for ‘Most Promising Artist.’ Since the release of her EP Misery’s End, which featured guest appearances by Ziggy Marley and Jack Johnson, Fuga has headlined the global music circuit and performed on the stages of Madison Square Garden, The Sydney Opera House Forecourt and is a three-time return guest artist to The White House. Today, with a global fanbase and thriving music career, Fuga’s music is dedicated to inspiring positive social change - rooted in perseverance and hope. She is fiercely committed to permeating the world with the evocative voice of the Hawaiian people.
