December 8th – Holiday Pops featuring vocalist Alli Mauzey

Celebrate the magic of the season with our festive Holiday Pops concert under the direction of maestro Jim Durham featuring Broadway actress/vocalist Alli Mauzey – who starred on Broadway as Glinda in Wicked! Join us for an enchanting afternoon of beloved Christmas classics and holiday favorites that will delight audiences of all ages. Guaranteed to infuse your spirit with holiday cheer through the magical melodies of the season.

Alli Mauzey is currently starring on Broadway in the critically acclaimed world premiere musical Kimberly Akimbo. Before that, Alli starred as Ernestina in the Tony Award winning revival of Hello, Dolly!. Other Broadway credits include Glinda in Wicked, a role she also performed to critical acclaim on the First National Tour and the San Francisco company, Lenora in the musical Cry-Baby, for which she won a Theatre World Award and was nominated for a Drama League Award, and Brenda in Hairspray (both on Broadway and in the original company of the First National Tour). Alli also originated the role of Lenora in the Pre-Broadway production of Cry-Baby at the La Jolla Playhouse in San Diego (Theatre Critics Circle Award). Other New York Credits include New York City Center Encores in the role of Minerva in The Golden Apple as well as Sydney in It’s a Bird…It’s a Plane…It’s Superman, and the Off-Broadway production of Red Eye of Love. Regionally, she has appeared as Mallory in City of Angels for Reprise! in Los Angeles, Snookie in 110 in the Shade at the Pasadena Playhouse, and Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors at The Muny, for which she was nominated for a Kevin Kline Award.

Ms. Mauzey has also had the pleasure of doing several concerts with symphony orchestras across the country including playing Ellie in Show Boat with the New York Philharmonic and the title role in Cinderella alongside the Nashville Symphony Orchestra benefiting the charity Show Hope. Recent and upcoming engagements include The Philly Pops, Pittsburgh Symphony, Pacific Symphony, Charlotte Symphony, Maryland Symphony, Nashville Symphony, Maui Orchestra, Corpus Christi Symphony, Sarasota Symphony, Tuscan Symphony, Kalamazoo Symphony, Fort Worth Symphony, Shreveport Symphony, Desert Symphony, Virginia Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, Missouri Symphony, Oklahoma City Philharmonic, Idaho State Civic Symphony, West Virginia Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra, Orlando Philharmonic, North Carolina Symphony, Akron Symphony, Houston Symphony, Knoxville Symphony,  Allentown Symphony, Lincoln Symphony, Calgary Philharmonic, and Wurttenbembreg Philharmonic of Reutlingen (Germany).  Among many voiceover credits, her voice can be heard as a series regular on the animated television series Alpha Teens on Machines. She has a BFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in drama and a minor in music.

January 12th – Broadway Pops featuring vocalists Capathia Jenkins & Ryan Shaw

Experience an afternoon of show-stopping entertainment featuring dynamic vocalists Capathia Jenkins and Ryan Shaw under the direction of maestro Jim Durham. “Broadway & Beyond” provides a dazzling fusion of Broadway, jazz, up-beat pop and soulful R&B hits. This “Unforgettable” concert will take you on a musical journey from the bright lights of Times Square to the sultry clubs of New Orleans, showcasing the best of American music in one electrifying performance.

The Brooklyn-born and raised singer/actor, Capathia Jenkins, premiered her new show, She’s Got Soul, with the Houston Symphony in October 2022, with recent and upcoming performances including Cleveland Orchestra, Seattle Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Utah Symphony, Indianapolis Symphony, Naples Philharmonic, Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Asheville Symphony, Arkansas Symphony, Tucson Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, Sarasota Orchestra, Calgary Philharmonic, Edmonton Symphony, South Dakota Symphony, Wichita Symphony, Richardson Symphony, No Name Pops, Binghamton Philharmonic, Wheeling Symphony, among others.

Ms. Jenkins starred as ‘Medda’ in the hit Disney production of Newsies on Broadway. She made her Broadway debut in The Civil War, where she created the role of Harriet Jackson. She then starred in the Off-Broadway 2000 revival of Godspell, where she wowed audiences with her stirring rendition of ‘Turn Back, O Man’ which can still be heard on the original cast recording. She returned to Broadway in The Look of Love and was critically acclaimed for her performances of the Bacharach/David hits. Ms. Jenkins then created the roles of ‘The Washing Machine’ in Caroline, Or Change and ‘Frieda May’ in Martin Short-Fame Becomes Me where she sang ‘Stop the Show’ and brought the house down every night.  In 2007 she went back to Off-Broadway and starred in (mis) Understanding Mammy-The Hattie McDaniel Story for which she was nominated for a Drama Desk Award. She was also seen in Nora Ephron’s Love, Loss, and What I Wore.

An active concert artist, Ms. Jenkins has appeared with numerous orchestras around the world including the Cleveland Orchestra, Houston Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony (with Marvin Hamlisch), National Symphony, Cincinnati Pops (with John Morris Russell), Philly Pops, San Francisco Symphony, Seattle Symphony, Utah Symphony, Minnesota Orchestra, Toronto Symphony, San Diego Symphony, the Hong Kong Philharmonic, and many others.  She was also a soloist with the Festival Cesky Krumlov in the Czech Republic multiple times.  Capathia had the great honor of performing in the ‘Broadway Ambassadors to Cuba’ concert as part of the Festival De Teatro De La Habana. She will be returning to Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops for Get Happy: That Nelson Riddle Sound and also sang in a Tribute to Marvin Hamlisch at the Library of Congress.

Her Television credits include 30 Rock, the Practice, Law & Order SVU, the Sopranos, Law & Order, as well as on her critically acclaimed CD Phenomenal Woman with Louis Rosen and her most recent single, ‘I am Strong’. She can be seen in the film ‘Musical Chairs’ directed by Susan Seidelman. Ms. Jenkins was also seen in The Wiz in a live performance on NBC.  She can be heard on the following film soundtracks: Nine, Chicago, Legally Blonde 2.

Ryan Shaw is a three-time GRAMMY® nominated artist for his solo projects, Columbia Records’ This is Ryan Shaw, his In Between and Dynotone’s Real Love. He has shared the world stage with such artists as Van Halen, Bonnie Raitt, John Legend, B.B. King and Jill Scott. His music has been featured on FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance and ABC’s Dancing with The Stars, Grey’s Anatomy, and Lincoln Heights, and the films My Blueberry Nights and Bride Wars and on the Sex and the City soundtrack. Ryan has been a featured guest on national TV talk shows and has starred as Judas in the Lyric Opera of Chicago’s Olivier Award-winning London production of Jesus Christ Superstar, as the original Stevie Wonder in Motown: The Musical on Broadway, and on London’s West End as the Soul of Michael Jackson in Thriller Live. Ryan’s new album, Imagining Marvin, showcases Marvin Gaye hits alongside Ryan’s original songs and features multi-GRAMMY® Award-winning co-writers and special guests.

As a concert soloist, Ryan Shaw made his Radio City Music Hall debut at the Dream Concert benefit to build the Martin Luther King Jr National Monument in Washington DC. His Carnegie Hall appearances include an Elton John and Bernie Taupin Tribute, A Celebration of The African American Cultural Legacy, and a Nat King Cole 100th concert with the NY Pops. Ryan has also been honored to be the second artist in history to be asked to perform a return engagement at the Central Park Summer Stage Gala (second to Stevie Wonder). He has also been a featured artist with the Houston Symphony for their R&B Mixtape concert as well as the soloist for the Houston Symphony’s 4th of July Celebration. February 16th – Winter Pops featuring Rachel Potter & Patrick Thomas

Saddle up for “Legends of Country” – a toe-tapping tribute to the country legends who conquered the pop charts! Under the baton of guest conductor Adam Jones, Nashville vocalists Rachel Potter & Patrick Thomas will bring you the best of both worlds, reimagining the chart-topping hits that bridged the gap between Nashville and mainstream radio. From Hank Williams to Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton and others, experience the golden sounds that made music history and won hearts across America.

Rachel Potter, an acclaimed Broadway star and accomplished Nashville Recording artist, has been recognized by US Weekly as “One to Watch” and praised by the Hollywood Reporter for her “crystalline vocals.” With a successful career in both musical theater and country music, Rachel has showcased her talent on stages of all sizes.

Rachel’s impressive resume includes her turn as the ever “popular” Glinda u/s on the National Tour of Wicked. Next, she made her Broadway debut as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, where she shared the stage with Bebe Neuwirth and Brooke Shields as Morticia. She then went on to originate the role of the Mistress in the Tony Nominated revival of Evita, alongside Ricky Martin and Michael Cerveris. Her standout performance on the Original Broadway Cast Recording of the production, singing the poignant song “Another Suitcase in Another Hall,” further solidified her place in the Broadway community.

Hailing from St. Petersburg, Florida, Rachel’s journey in the entertainment industry began at Walt Disney World, where she portrayed iconic characters such as Ariel, Belle, and Nemo. She made her way into New York City as a top 15 finalist on MTV’s Legally Blonde: The Search for Elle Woods.

Transitioning from Broadway to Nashville, Rachel garnered national attention as a Top 12 finalist on season 3 of FOX’s The X Factor. Her audition with her version of Queen’s “Somebody to Love” earned international praise, and continues to amass millions of views online. In addition to her solo career, Rachel has collaborated numerous times with the world renowned Acapella groups VoicePlay and Voctave. Most recently, Rachel voiced the theme song, “Journey to Fantasy Springs,” for Tokyo Disney Sea’s new land “Fantasy Springs.”

The son of two Broadway singers, Patrick Thomas grew up in Colleyville, Texas surrounded by music. At a young age, he was taken to see the blockbuster hit Titanic. After the movie, he returned home and began playing the underscoring from the film on piano. Continuing to display increasingly high levels of musicianship and the ability to accompany himself by ear, Patrick began a life of frequent public performances. From international corporate conventions, to singing major league national anthems, to televised shows at Johnny High’s Country Music Revue, Patrick honed his craft of singing and playing the piano, adding songwriting to the mix by the time he was a pre-teen.

A favorite and live finalist on the inaugural season of NBC’s The Voice (Team Blake), Patrick was noticed and signed by Grammy Award-winning songwriter Brett James and Cornman Music where he developed further as a songwriter, penning over 200 songs in his first year. For the next few years, Patrick toured the United States performing classic country covers with symphony orchestras including the Dallas Symphony, Houston Symphony, St. Louis Symphony, Utah Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, Evansville Philharmonic, Youngstown Symphony, Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Cape Symphony, Charleston Symphony, Heartland Festival Orchestra, Hawaii Symphony, Naples Philharmonic, Anchorage Symphony, Reno Philharmonic, Allentown Symphony, Lansing Symphony, Wheeling Symphony, Maryland Symphony, Tucson Symphony, Calgary Philharmonic, Buffalo Philharmonic, Santa Rosa Symphony, South Dakota Symphony, Virginia Symphony, West Virginia Symphony, Rockford Symphony, Quad City Symphony, Abilene Philharmonic, Battle Creek Symphony, North Charleston Pops, Aiken Symphony, Ocean City Pops, among others. In addition to his career a country artist, Patrick has also written a full-length musical, The Battle of Franklin, which debuted to sellout crowds in Franklin, Tennessee, also breaking gross ticket sales records for the producing company, Studio Tenn. As a keyboard player he has played on numerous sessions and has also toured as band leader and multi-instrumentalist for a variety of Nashville acts. Lastly, he is a popular demo-vocalist for many songwriters and publishing companies in town. He is also a graduate of Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music.

Raiatea Helm grew up with her family on the Hawaiian island of Moloka‘i and released her first album at the age of 18. Far Away Heaven was critically acclaimed and won her the Nā Hōkū Hanohano (Hawai‘i’s “GRAMMY®”) Female Vocalist of the Year Award and the Most Promising Artist Award. Her second album, Sweet and Lovely, earned her four more Nā Hōkū Hanohano awards, as well as a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Hawaiian Music Album, making Raiatea the first Hawaiian female vocalist nominated for a GRAMMY®. Her third album, Hawaiian Blossom, earned her a second GRAMMY® nomination and further Nā Hōkū Hanohano award. Her 2016 album, He Leo Huali, A Pure Voice, secured her 8th Nā Hōkū Hanohano award.

In 2024, her masterful release A Legacy of Song and String, Volume 1 swept the Na Hoku Awards with 7 wins, including Female Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year, and Hawaiian Album of the Year.

Raiatea has toured the U.S. extensively and has also appeared in China, Japan and Tahiti, captivating audiences with her vocal interpretation of Hawaiian mele [songs]. When she’s not performing, she serves as a Program Coordinator at the Liliuokalani Trust in Honolulu, developing music programs for Hawai’i’s keiki.

With a band that includes guitar, ‘ukulele, steel guitar, and bass, Raiatea captures the attention of audiences throughout her native islands and around the world, interpreting traditional Hawaiian song with her awe-inspiring vocal mastery.

She also performs as a guest artist with symphony orchestras, with a range of songs from Hawaiian classics to jazz favorites and has orchestra charts for her repertoire.
