The Maui Pops Orchestra is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Ticket sales alone cannot meet the expense of operating the Pops. We ask for your support as a fan of pops and “light classics” so that Maui Pops can continue to grow and thrive on Maui. Your contribution is an important part of our annual operating budget. It will allow us to continue offering fun and exciting performances at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Additionally, it will help us finance student performances, and musicales at varied sites and facilities on Maui, designed especially for those who may be otherwise unable to attend a MACC performance.
All sponsors may request certain aspects of our Maui Pops concerts that they would like to support. We will make every effort to steer the donation to that part of the budget. Donations of over $10,000 are treated as special cases, and will be dealt with individually per the wishes of the donor.

Music Director’s Sponsor • $10,000-$24,999
A Music Director Sponsor underwrites the overall operating costs and Guest Artist fees paid throughout the Maui Pops Orchestra’s concert season.
Event Sponsor • $10,000
An Event Sponsor underwrites the cost of the event for one specific concert. This event is normally at the Castle Theater at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC). Each time we perform a concert at the MACC, the fees are about 30% of our overall concert budget. The Event Sponsor has the choice of being identified in our Concert Season Program, and may even wish to choose which concert they would like to underwrite.
Concertmaster’s Sponsor • $5,000 – $9,999
A Concertmaster Sponsor assists in underwriting the fees paid to all of our musicians.
Principal Chairs’ Sponsors • $2,500-$4,999
These Sponsors help us to support the Principal Chairs in our Orchestra, such as the Principal Trumpet or Principal Clarinet.
Soloists’ Circle • $1,000 – $2,499
These donations help to underwrite the fees for Guest Artists at our concerts.
Musicians’ Circle • $500 – $999
These donations help to underwrite the musicians’ fees for our concert.
Sponsors • $250 – $499
Our sponsors help to underwrite our costs for advertising and promotion.
Patrons • $100 – $249
Our patrons help to underwrite the cost of the purchase of music for our orchestra.
Friends • $25 – $99
Our friends really help to fill in the pukas in our budget when they occur!
